Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Cost $40.00

Description: “Tiny Gems” – A TWO Evening Paint Workshop – All skill levels accepted . . . beginner to advanced.

I am the first one to say “let’s paint big with big brushes” but I  thought a nice break is in order. Join me to paint Tiny Gems that work well as extra show pieces, gifts or your treasures for a small space. We will paint on two evenings in a medium of our choice. You can spend all the time on one or start several to finish at home or if you are fast get a few done.

Supplies Needed:

Bring several small canvasses, wood panels, metal or all medium or heavy watercolor paper. (Keep the size of your substrate under 10” in each direction) ie. a 4 x 6 inch would apply or it could be a square 8” x 8” or even smaller

  • Bring 1 frame to fit the painting of your choice from those you create. You might want to get the frame first and determine the size of your surface. Frames can be repurposed.
  • Bring large brushes to start with and go smaller to tiny for detail.
  • Bring reference materials (whatever floats your boat!) but make sure they

have good contrast, light to dark values and you have a sense of joy or

curiosity when you look at them.

  • Medium and palette of your choice. We can go smaller with palettes and

you will not require table easels for this one.
