Marleta Stansberry – Mixed Media

It is innate to the artist to create in order to feel more human . . ., more alive. That being said, it is the artist’s responsibility to remind people of their humanness and their own connection to the world around them.  For me , going up between the Pacific Ocean and the mountains of Oregon, inspiration was everywhere.  I have always felt a deep connection to the outdoors.  It is an intricate part 0f who I am.  I believe this is why I naturally gravitate toward organic forms and materials.  These forms, these creations, connect me to my world.
