Diane Noody – Oil, Watercolor, Pen and Ink

Diane M. Noody resides in Lakeview, N.Y. with her husband of forty three years.  Diane was a photo retoucher for three years in Buffalo, N.Y.; a floral designer for Lehde’s Florist in Hamburg for many years; contributed many church bulletin cover drawings to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in West Seneca.  Diane is an active member of the Centennial Art Center of Hamburg.  She has won a number of awards through the CAC of Hamburg, the Erie County Fair and the New York State Taxidermy Association in Syracuse.  Her work includes oil, watercolor, and pen and ink. Diane incorporates Tromp-l’oeil into many of her paintings.  Tromp-l’oeil being an art technique involving extremely realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects appear in three dimensions.
